To: Bird,

We, the members of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1028 wish to give you a most special gift. After having watched the Commander of our Funeral Honors Team perform his duties despite the severe disability of a front missing tooth, we thought it kind and appropriate to gift you with an Afred E. Newman tooth, (root and all). ALL of the undersigned hold you in the highest esteem and wish for you to be able to smile at the bereaved with a mouth full of teeth.

Chapter President, Dan Crowe (L.) thanks American Legion Post 400 Adjutant Allen(Gramps) Sanford and Vice Commander Jim Woelich for their assistance and cooperation in hosting the Chapter's monthly meetings.

On September 8th, Chapter 1028 members joined, the founder of the Chapter's Honors Team, Dan Wilson, for breakfast at Delmar Gardens On the Green. Dan was presented with the team's Field Jacket and Helicopter Windbreaker that he wore as the Team's Commander.
