On November 11th, members of Chapter 1028 attended a Veterans Day ceremony at the Delmar Gardens of Meramec Nursing Home. The Chapter's Honor Guard presented the colors and conducted a flag retirement ceremony. The event featured speakers from our Chapter. Treasurer Tom Brophy gave the Missing Man Table presentation. Member Bill Groth representing the Sons of the American Revolution also spoke.

At the November 4th monthly meeting representatives from the Lutheran Senior Services spoke about the opportunities and services provided by the Christian organization for senior Veterans.

On November 14th the Chapter held a fundraiser at the Dierberg's store in Wildwood. Thanks to all the members who volunteered their time. As always we appreciate the cooperation of the store management for allowing us to use their facility. The weather was great and the donations were generous.
